The Wray Family Foundation’s primary mission is to improve the lives of aspiring community service leaders in need of mentoring and financial support while pursuing formal education. We provide scholarships to college bound students sharing our vision for community service, and dedicated to affecting positive change for their communities.
Shining Star Youth and Community Services is pleased to announce the Wray Family Foundation 2017 Community Service Scholarship Award $2,500.00 Annual
This scholarship rewards excellence by supporting high-achieving high school minority seniors with financial need who seek to attend a four-year university. Applications are due by March 1, 2017 for the Fall 2017 Semester. Award Recipients will be notified by May 1, 2017.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- High school seniors
- Must be the descendant of an immigrant parent
- US citizen or Permanent Resident
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must exhibit financial hardship
- Submittal of a 2 page essay (Required)
- Applicants must be an aspiring community service leader
