Laura Mendoza
Laura Mendoza is the site director of Shining Star Child Development (East Side). Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University.
Laura has a passion for working with children and prides herself in maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for all children.
MEET OUR FAMILY INTAKE SPECIALIST/SITE DIRECTOR
Hilda Sosa
Hilda Sosa is the Family Intake Specialist/Assistant Director of Shining Star Child Development (East Side). Hilda holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Child Development and Adolescence. She is expecting to complete her degree by the end of 2021.
Hilda gives support to families enrolled in the Shining Star Head Start program by ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards in the following areas: health, family & community partnerships, nutrition, mental health and disability services.
Ms. Sosa has a passion for working with parents and supporting them as they pursue their career goals.
